TalentKeepers offers the following Talent Management Tools:

Co-worker Engagement Tool

Support and mutual respect among co-workers is critical to creating and maintaining an engaged workforce. The ability for co-workers to work collaboratively with each other as well as share experiences has tremendous impact on the team’s performance, loyalty, and work satisfaction. TalentKeepers is in the process of developing a Co-Worker Engagement Tool to help employees better understand how to work most effectively with each other. Appropriate for all employee and leadership levels, this new tool will allow employees to discover and consider each other's preferences in the areas of communication, work styles, support, task completion, work attitudes, and stress reduction. Tactics for working more effectively with each co-worker on a team will be provided along with the option to participate in more in-depth training on how to work most effectively with co-workers with different preferences (see Co-Worker Engagement Training Module). This tool is scheduled for release in August 2010. Please contact us to learn more.

"Please Say No" Interview Tool

Many candidates are challenged by the question, "Am I making a good decision by joining this organization?" We know the decision-making process can be difficult and sometimes overwhelming for both the candidate and the organization. To help create a sense of assurance through the hiring process, TalentKeepers has a tool that eliminates the guess work around the "million dollar" question and empowers candidates to be open and honest with the reason your organization is, or is not, the right choice. The "Please Say No" tool asks the candidate important questions designed to reduce early employee turnover and increase confidence in the decision to join your organization. The "Please Say No" tool creates a win-win outcome for both parties.

  • A method for taking proactive control of every opportunity to influence an employee's retention decision during the critical 90-day period.
  • A "roadmap" of consistent interventions at set timeframes.
  • Consistent scripting and repetition of key employee and retention themes regardless of who is delivering the message (site director, manager, trainer, supervisor, peers, recruiter, others).

Insight® Multi-Rater (360) Survey

Insight® is a 15-minute survey that utilizes a 360-degree survey format to solicit input from individual leaders, their team members, peers, and their manager. The content of the survey focuses on TalentKeepers' leadership competencies related to effective employee engagement behavior. The results of the survey illustrate how a leader perceives himself/herself, relative to the perceptions of team members, peers and manager(s) in regards to the leader using talent management-oriented behaviors with his/her team, and are used to prioritize the participant's development plan. Valuable comparisons are drawn in those areas where the leader and the other respondents differed in their perceptions. The survey consists of 40 structured items, and respondents, other than the focal leader, will be anonymous and identified only by their relationship to the leader (e.g., team member, manager, and peer.)

Employee Turnover Cost Calculator

TalentKeepers' Employee Turnover Cost Calculator assists organizations in developing fine-tuned estimates of direct and indirect employee turnover costs. The calculator contains detailed categories to itemize the financial impact of employee turnover, along with some shortcuts for estimating these costs that are both reasonable and conservative.

While there are various ways of estimating the cost of losing a valued worker, most important is that executives agree that the final cost estimate is accurate. Only then can organizations use the resulting cost as a benchmark to measure the real cost of employee turnover, along with real savings as employee retention is increased. Our cost calculator is offered to foster agreement among executives, as it will produce a comprehensive, measurable cost that is legitimate, defensible, and yet conservative so all can agree.

In addition, results of your employee cost can be benchmarked against TalentKeepers' database to produce strategic data about your organization's engagement and retention performance and how it compares to other industry-like organizations.
